Appointments and Safety Protocols

In addition to client and patient safety, we want to ensure that our staff stay healthy so that we remain available for all our clients’ animals, especially now during a period of very high need for veterinary services in our area.

Requests for our Clients

So that we can continue to provide veterinary care, we ask that our clients please call us to reschedule and consult (703-830-8844) for any of the following reasons:

  • If you or someone in your household is sick or has symptoms of a respiratory illness within the last 14 days

  • If you or someone in your household has recently been exposed to someone with symptoms of a respiratory illness within the last 14 days

  • If you have travelled, overseas or otherwise, within the last 14 days

  • If you are self monitoring, in isolation, or in quarantine

Please call us to reschedule and to discuss your pets' condition and any interim needs they may have.

Curbside Pickup or Appointments

If you prefer curbside service, we are still happy to offer clients curbside pet pickup or food dropoff. Thank you for working with our staff to confirm your mobile phone number and having sufficient cell phone charge for a 20-30 minute call.

  1. Call when you arrive in the parking lot, 703-830-8844

  2. Bring your pet to the door as normal. CCAC staff will greet you to receive your pet

  3. As we examine your pet, a doctor will call to discuss the patient history, relay exam findings, and discuss testing and treatment options (you will be on speaker phone during portions of the physical exam or treatment; please ensure your phone has sufficient power for a 20-30 minute call)

  4. We will prepare any needed medicines and supplies and call to arrange payment via phone and coordinate pickup
